CashflowQuest is designed with privacy in mind. We collect minimal information necessary for app functionality:

Financial Data: Income entries, expense entries, notes, and custom fields you create (stored locally on your device)
User Profile: Your selected currency, business type, notification preferences, and app settings (stored locally)
Gamification Data: XP points, levels, achievements, Quest Coins, and streak data (stored locally)

Important: All data is stored locally on your device using CoreData. We do not have access to your financial information.

3. How We Use Your Information

Your data is used exclusively to provide app functionality:

Track your daily income and expenses
Generate statistics and visualizations
Calculate gamification rewards (XP, levels, achievements)
Provide business insights based on your selected business type
Send local notifications (if you enable them)
Sync data across your devices via iCloud (Pro feature, optional)

4. Data Storage and Security

Local Storage: All your data is stored locally on your device using Apple's CoreData framework. This data never leaves your device unless you explicitly enable iCloud sync.

iCloud Sync (Pro Feature): If you purchase CashflowQuest Pro and enable iCloud sync, your data will be synchronized across all your devices signed in with the same Apple ID. This data is stored in your personal iCloud account and is protected by Apple's security measures. We do not have access to your iCloud data.

Security: Your data is protected by your device's built-in security features, including device passcode and Face ID/Touch ID.

5. Third-Party Services

CashflowQuest does not use any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. We value your privacy and do not share your data with any third parties.

Apple Services:

StoreKit: Used for in-app purchases (CashflowQuest Pro). Purchase data is handled by Apple and subject to Apple's Privacy Policy.
CloudKit: Used for optional iCloud sync. Data is stored in your personal iCloud account.
UserNotifications: Used for local notifications (no data leaves your device).

6. In-App Purchases

CashflowQuest offers a one-time Pro upgrade purchase:

Type: One-time, non-consumable purchase
Payment Processing: Handled entirely by Apple through your Apple ID
Data Collection: We do not collect or store payment information. All transactions are processed by Apple.

7. Your Rights and Choices

You have full control over your data:

Access: All your data is accessible within the app at any time
Modification: You can edit or delete any entries or custom fields
Export: Export your data as CSV or PDF (Pro feature)
Deletion: Delete all data by removing the app from your device
iCloud Sync Control: Enable or disable iCloud sync at any time in Settings
Notifications: Control notification permissions in iOS Settings

8. Children's Privacy

CashflowQuest is not intended for users under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

9. Data Retention

Your data is stored locally on your device and in your iCloud account (if enabled) for as long as you keep the app installed. When you delete the app, all local data is permanently removed from your device.

10. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any significant changes by updating the "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the app after changes indicates your acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.

11. International Users

CashflowQuest is available worldwide. Your data is stored on your device and, if enabled, in your iCloud account according to your region settings.
